Dr. Mitts is a member of the most prestigious society for plastic surgeons “The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)”. This society is for the most elite of plastic surgeons. The society requires 50 continuing medical education units every year, compared to the minimum requirements of 25 CME for all other Doctors. This is to make sure every member is up to date on all the latest medical information, training and equipment. These elite plastic surgeons must attend at least 25 CME by its own society ASPS therefore making sure that they preview the latest techniques and continually improve their surgical outcomes. He is also a valued member of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and many other societies.
